    • PDF handling not always perfect: large layout PDFs or image-rich documents may lag or have formatting inconsistencies. :contentReference[oaicite:13]{index=13}

    • Battery usage and performance may vary on lower-end devices, especially with animations, large PDFs, or with dual-page and continuous scroll modes. (Inferred)
    • Overwhelming number of layout and appearance options may lead to inconsistent user experience across different books. (Inferred)
    • No official iOS version; it’s Android-only. (Moon+ Reader Pro is only for Android) :contentReference[oaicite:16]{index=16}
    • Syncing across devices depends on proper cloud setup; failures in cloud services can lead to lost progress/annotations. :contentReference[oaicite:17]{index=17}
    • Some users reported bugs in PDF continuous scroll or resetting to first page when fast scrolling. :contentReference[oaicite:18]{index=18}

Best reader for sure. I have a problem with the widget though. I have it on recent, and when I restart my phone it just shows up blank and when tapped it opens the app. I've edited the review to add that, the book progression doesn't show properly either. and sometimes only the top most recent books shows but the rest of the list doesn't. overall not the best widget experience."

Was an awesome app until Android 14 update. It no longer does TTS properly. It will now pause at the end of every chapter when reading EPUB files. This only happens if it's running in the background. All my books are in EPUB, so it's VERY noticable to me. Tried allowing the program unrestricted access for power management and disabling all idle controls in Android to no avail."

This is a decent e-reader for android. I've been using the Pro version for several years. My only complaints are that I often have to manually import books that I sideload even though the options are set to automatically do this. Books also show up on the "Recent List," but I cannot get them to show up on "My Shelf" so I'm frequently switching between the two. Documentation of how to perform certain tasks also needs improving. Will all of my highlights transfer when I get a new tablet?"
