One of the most shoddily produced, really frustrating apps I've seen so far. Not only the UI is supremely confusing but location sharing functionality is broken (and this is for one of their flagship cameras!). What could be a very simple one-click no-nonsense app to do 2 functions and to do them well is instead a tangled mess of broken features and a UI that makes people want to throw the camera at the wall. Sony, you should be ashamed of yourself!"

The latest version works to sync my photos wirelessly from my A6500 to my Galaxy S22. Surprisingly, I was able to figure out how to remote control the shutter using the phone interface for the first time ever. Although, this operated with serious lag that made it less than practical. My biggest gripe is that it constantly runs in the background searching for my camera even when Ive turned the app off. I only use the camera occasionally so I'll just uninstall the app between uses."

Apparently I left a review in 2019 that wasn't great. Guess what it's 2023 and things aren't better at all! I know it went through a couple iterations and there was some progress but now it appears it's even worse! Same as in last comment the app and supposedly being able to transfer images to your phone was a key selling point! That just doesn't work anymore and just a shame for a company like Sony"
