Very disappointed in the new update. Removal of differentiating features found in Photo Sphere is frustrating as 360 photos were not the only benefit (Wide angle, fisheye, vertical...). As a photographer, this variety of options was a crucial selling point on Nexus/Pixel. Especially with the amount of AI tools that have since hit the market, this is a step backwards. Having to dig through menus for key controls (white balance, contrast) from the main camera screen is a poor user experience. Boo."

The recent update moved the controls. Why? If you're going to change the location of the controls, at least give users a way to choose where they are. And still, I cannot say "shoot" or any simple voice command to take a picture when the app is open. Using OK Google is terrible. It takes too long to first open the app, then a 3 second countdown before snapping the picture. The camera app on my ancient Samsung phone had the option. When will we get this useful feature?"

Was severely disappointed in the new camera update. Two of my favorite features were removed, the Photo Sphere and burst mode. The pro features are nice.. if you have the pixel 8 pro. There's no reason they shouldn't have been released on the 8, and likewise the pixel 6 and up. Google seriously needs to stop using AI to edit photos before you even touch them as well."
