I originally liked the remote start app, however as of August 2023, the app is not updating the status and refuses to start the car, stating that the car cannot perform more than 2 starts without being driven. The problem is that the car was driven, but it is not resetting the remote start counter. I live in Arizona, and the remote start is an important feature. Mazda: fix the app or switch back to the fob, otherwise you're going to be losing customers."

Terrible experience with the platform. 1. Won't lock unlocked doors when the car is in the drive and I'm in the house either on or off the wifi. Seems to start remotely each time just fine. 2. The app won't keep my Mazda as the default. It always starts on my wife's. 3. When you try to clear the vehicle status alert by tapping the X in the UI, it opens the alert anyway."

First, the support email for the developer contact isn't even active anymore, so that was a waste of time. Additionally, the Android version forces you to only use Chrome and doesn't choose the default browser that you use on the device. It has leveraged the default browser in the past, so someone messed up on one of the updates regarding the code that opens the browser on the schedule service feature."
