What is Happy Color®: Coloring Book

Happy Color®: Coloring Book is a mobile “color by number” app developed by X‑Flow (Pixel Art) that transforms digital coloring into a relaxing, mindful pastime. Users choose from thousands of pre‑drawn illustrations across a wide array of categories — nature, animals, mandalas, Disney/Marvel, architecture, fantasy, fashion, and more — then fill in numbered regions with the corresponding colors. The process is intuitive: tap a color, tap all areas labeled with its number, and watch the picture gradually come alive. The app often provides daily new designs, occasional events, achievements, and a social/community sharing aspect. Its appeal lies in combining simple mechanics with visual satisfaction and stress relief.

Glitchy as heck! It usually plays one ad whenever I click on a new picture, or turn my phone off. Usually, it plays the ad, then halfway through the screen goes black and I have to close the app. Sometimes I have to open and close the app three times before it works. Sometimes it restarts the app three times just on the loading screen. Nearly impossible to avoid the glitchy ads. And don't tell me to visit your help center like you did with my friend. It's not me or my phone. PLEASE FIX THE APP!"

Fun game with plenty of variety. The adds aren't super intrusive, and there isn't a bunch of annoying reward metrics. It's just coloring. That being said, some of the pictures have a bunch of blended colors in the pallette and it kind of defeats the purpose for me; maybe one in ten pictures. And then once I start it I have to finish it. And if you like doing the daily pictures for variety and achievements, then you'll have do do quite a lot of them. Without those pictures, though, 5 out of 5."

This is a pretty good coloring app. Lots of options for pictures to color and none that I consider inappropriate or too suggestive. There are a couple of small downsides. It did take me a little while to find the auto advance option that moves to the next color when finished with the current color). Also, lists are long due to being around for a while and having great content. A search function, slider bar, or reverse sort would be nice to speed up navigation in the individual categories."
